What happened to the Conan O'Brien show??? It didn't come on last night and I've checked the schedule and its not scheduled for the rest of this weeke either. Does anyone know what happened? ~ fingertips

It was on, here in the east coast...although it was extremely late. Probably wasn't until 1:25'ish when they actually played. --Duke33 08:24, 16 Feb 2005 (EST)

Ok. I have to check my tape. My mom made me go to bed. I hate being 15. I'm east coast too though. I believe I taped from 12:35 to 1:35. Isn't that what happened last time as well. They didn't play until the very end.

I checked my tapes and i have it. It's weird that some people had a different episode. My friend who lives 45 minutes away had the brass band thing too. ~ fingertips

About the Q U video on Here Come The ABCs! The people dancing throughout the movie are clearly John Flansburgh and John Linnell, but who are they in the beginning when the Q is playing guitar. The person qearing the Q head is playing guitar right handed and is wearing something different from the person who is in the Q head the rest of the movie. I'm thinking Dan Miller?

Actually, it's not John & John at all, and they just switched heads in the first shot. For most of it, its Chris Anderson as Q and A.D. Miles as U. For whatever reason, they're switched in the opening shot. -TDK

Oh... ok. You are good. Are we supposed to know who those guys are? I had just assumed it was the johns. Also, the body structure of the two is very similar to those of the johns. Oh well.~ fingertips

Chris Anderson was in the band Muckafurgason as well as the People Are Wrong! cast. A.D. Miles played "Gary" in the film "Wet Hot American Summer". Does that help? -TDK

Actually yes. Thank you. ~ fingertips

1/30/05 - For anyone who has read the article about the concert at swarthmore, i just wanted to make sure I was reading it right, but it does say that only swartmore students will be allowed right? ~ fingertips

Also, I think we should all pitch in a bit and get an exclusive, Wiki Members Only concert. 15,000 wouldn't be that hard to raise.

Keep in mind that's their fee for a college show.

Was wondering where you got the idea that Danny Weinkauf brought Miller in with the Johns' permission. I don't think this is how it happened because Miller left Lincoln before Weinkauf and first joined up with Mono Puff, and then later TMBG after Weinkauf joined and Lincoln broke up. -TDK

I got it from an interview they did on WNYC, I'm pretty sure that is how flansburgh tells it, its in one of the ones on Clock Radio. I can check and get back to you on exactly which session it was. - fingertips

I found it, it's in the WNYCsegment1 that can be found on clock radio, i have a copy of it if you would like me to send it too you ~ fingertips

Flans says about Weinkauf, "He came with his friend and musical cohort, Dan Miller.".. that's what you're referring to? The wording implies that Weinkauf came with Miller, not the other way around. After Miller left, Lincoln toured with Marcy Playground as a trio, meanwhile Miller was working with Flansburgh.. what you have on Weinkauf's page just seems misleading. Oh, and you should sign your messages with a capital F or change your user page to the lowercase version or something :) -TDK

I heard it the other way around, becuase he is telling about how they were on tour with lincoln, and their bass player was leaving to go play with somebody who could play more and so Danny came over to them. I understood "came with" to mean "brought along." )For a more clear example, if you buy something expensive, like a TV or something, it will say, "comes with a warranty" meaning you get the TV and you get the Warranty too.) This is how I interpreted what Flans was saying. ~fingertips

Actually, Graham Maby had left a while before Weinkauf joined, and They had Hal Cragin on bass in the interim. I'm telling you, They had Miller at least a few months before Weinkauf. -TDK

Alright, you're the man, this is your sight. fingertips

As for my username, how do i change it to the lowercase, i've noticed that there was a problem becuase my username is the same as a song, so whenever i put up my username, the link is to the song. What do you reccomend I do? ~ fingertips

All you need to do to sign your messages is put three tildes (these: ~) at the end and the wiki will replace it with your name linked to your user page, assuming you're logged on. And if you use four tildes you also get a time stamp. -TDK 21:51, 5 Jan 2005 (EST)

Ok, thanks fingertips

common rotation[edit]

done with the picture...just for future reference, it's very easy to add, after you upload. Just add [[File:your_image_name.jpg|thumb|description of the image]] to the page (filling in the image name and your description.--Duke33 22:36, 2 Jan 2005 (EST)

Thanks a bunch!! ~ fingertips

conan[edit]

I think the conan show would be new, as they just re-ran last the experimental film appearance last nite. I'm not sure though...don't know where the person who posted got that info.

--Duke33 22:54, 2 Feb 2005 (EST)

It was in the newsletter --Ed 23:33, 2 Feb 2005 (EST)

Ok... thanks guys. I was figuring/hoping that it would be new. I'll remember to set the tape recorder. ~ fingertips

Towson[edit]

Ok, i'm a glutton for punishment...I couldn't make the Towson show, due to the inclement weather. What songs did they play? How was the turnout? I'm hoping they might re-schedule due to a bad turnout, but I'm not holding out much hope. --Duke33 14:22, 28 Feb 2005 (EST)

Your talking about the Border's show right? Unfortunately for you, the turn out was amazing. The john's were really surprised. If you wan't, e-mail me at saphirebullets@gmail.com. It would be easier for us to talk there and I can send you some of my pictures. Sorry you missed it. And next time, tell me before hand, that way we can meet up or something.~ fingertips
