The banter between songs was fun. The Johns talked about regional cuisine (Skyline Cincinnati-style chili and goetta) and attending the recent No Kings rally in St. Louis; Flansburgh talked about the recent TikTok trend of using Stuff Is Way in videos (admitting that he didn't understand it at all, comparing it to when "a 14-year-old comes up to you and says 'six-seven!'" They did the improv/conducting bit after Spy. Flans remarked that the next night's show would be "completely different" than tonight's, which was John Henry-heavy. The performance of Stellub was fun, with Linnell kicking off one shoe at the end "to prove it wasn't faked".
