Interpretations:About Me

From This Might Be A Wiki

Interpretation 1[edit]

The song sounds like it's being told by a ghost who persistently haunts a person no matter where he/she goes or does. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eyeball (talkcontribs) 06:05, 2 August 2006

Interpretation 2[edit]

Severe Tire Damage happens to be the first TMBG CD that I was ever exposed to. I turned the CD off after this song, mistakingly thinking that the CD was over. It was much later that night when the short, enigmatic song kept comming back to me as I was trying to sleep. A friend had let me borrow the CD, I listened to it politely because the friend had asked me to. Now I could politely tell the friend that I had listened to the whole CD and didn't like it, and give it back without another thought. So why was I still thinking about it? The song was right. I can't justify, but I later realized that I did in fact like the CD. I also realized that it was one of the best CDs I had ever listened to then. I bought more TMBG, and They are, to this day, my undisputed favourite band. -- Ganna

Interesting. The instant I heard Dr. Worm on the radio, I knew They were great. Funny how that works. Oh yeah... this song is actually *not* about me ;D --User:HearingAid

Precursor[edit]

Perhaps a precursor to the even more egomaniacal I'm All You Can Think About, hmmm? --MisterMe 16:39, 20 April 2012 (EDT)

Interpretation 4[edit]

Do you ever just think about breathing or blinking and then you can't stop? That's pretty crazy. Imallyoucanthinkof (talk) 18:44, 21 April 2023 (EDT)
