Marcel Dzama
Marcel Dzama illustrated TMBG's Bed, Bed, Bed book in 2003, and created artwork in the form of photographs for the band's twelfth studio album, The Else. On March 27th, a photo entitled "'The Else' rehearsals" was put up on TMBG's MySpace, containing a tree character created and previously used by Dzama (replacing Marty Beller on drums), and who are believed to be Danny Weinkauf (left) and Dan Miller (right) donning Dzama-esque masks.
His artwork "has been seen in art galleries all over the world," and he is often attributed as being one of the youngest artists ever to achieve a cult following. He has been involved with the infamous McSweeney's magazines, just like TMBG. A picture of him as a kid graces the back cover of the "Bed, Bed, Bed" book.
