Songs in which an item or an animal is given or referred to with human characteristics, particularly emotions. Usually either whimsical (i.e. a children's song) or very dark (i.e. a TMBG song). Excludes hypothetical creatures (e.g. Put Your Hand Inside The Puppet Head's zombie and the ghost of Turn Around) which would be sentient, and excludes the long dead (e.g. James Ensor). (In the italicised songs, the object is also the narrator.)
