I like to draw and stuff. The username is actually from the author of The Series of Unfotunate Events, Lemony Snicket. The first account I'd ever made ever anywhere on the internet had this name. I've used it ever since.

And no, I don't really play accordion. Unfortunately.

TMBG-Loving History[edit]

It all started somewhere around 2007. I happened upon TMBG several times, on Homestarrunner.com, Wikipedia articles about TV show theme songs, music videos, etcetera. I really liked the songs I heard, but I didn't really get into them much. Some time around that year, I added some of their songs like Particle Man, Experimental Film, and Boss of Me to my playlist, still not considering myself a huge fan. (In the same way someone might like Viva la Vida but not consider them self a Coldplay fan) However, one day I was in the car listening to the radio, when "Birdhouse in Your Soul" came on. I said "Hey I know this band, it's They Might Be Giants." And sure enough, it was. After that I began looking up more of their stuff on Youtube and playlist, and realized I liked them a lot. I looked on iTunes at Flood and decided it had a lot of songs I liked, and I bought it, along with Here Come the 123's. Then I bought miscellaneous songs that I liked off iTunes (this was before they took half their music off, though they've put most of it back up! Yay!)

I began going crazy over them and bought A User's Guide To They Might Be Giants: Melody, Fidelity, Quantity. It was my favorite CD ever! Then I lent it to my friend and he lost it. I was devestated, until he bought me The Else to make up for it! I'd had my eye on it for months! :D So then I went to the library and found like half of their CDs, and eventually I'm where I am now. Nearly having every CD
