- John Flansburgh shared his thoughts with the New York Times yesterday, on the kind of children's music he would raise his kids on, if he had kids. Check out his recommendations.

- In an interview with Terry Bartley today, Flansburgh reveals that the band is working on their next children's album, Here Comes Science. In addition, he says "We'll be doing some rock project in very short order after that, we might do an EP or something". Also available is an audio clip of the interview (begins at six minutes into the audio).

- Over the past week, IGN Movies has been posting "making of" featurettes about Coraline. The fourth, while discussing John Hodgman's role in the film, includes a song "improvised" by one of his characters; whether or not Hodgman will record his own version at a later date, the featurette version (beginning at 1:22) is sung by Linnell.

- Billboard and CMJ have confirmed They Might Be Giants will be participating in the 2008 CMJ Music Marathon, October 21st-25th in New York City. (Actual showtime/date to be announced.)

- Throughout today, Cleveland radio station 88.3 FM WBWC is broadcasting an 18-hour, all-They Might Be Giants marathon, ending at 1:00 am EST. Click here to listen to a live Internet broadcast (RealPlayer required). TMBW would like to personally thank Joe Kenderes for his hard work during the marathon and for hearing out all our insane requests. The entire event was spectacular.
