Chris Smith

Chris Lenox Smith is a Brooklyn-based audio-visual artist who has collaborated with They Might Be Giants on multiple occasions. Smith co-founded the design studio Mixtape Club with Jesse Casey, which has worked with several high-profile clients such as Google, Android, Spotify, and ESPN.[3]
Smith has remarked that his "infatuation with TMBG knows no bounds." Smith's work with They Might Be Giants started when he and the Mixtape Club created the projection footage for TMBG's tour in 2011. These videos featured clips of various objects and scenes that were montaged together and played behind the band.[4]
Smith would then go on to reuse several of these clips for various music videos for the 2015 revival of Dial-A-Song. This included music videos for the songs End Of The Rope and Aaa. Mixtape Club also animated and directed the music video for Walking My Cat Named Dog. Mixtape Club themselves have also directed music videos for Primus, Passion Pit, and TV on the Radio.[5]
