APOLLO 18 CELEBRATES A BIRTHDAY
On this date in 1992, They Might Be Giants released their fourth album, Apollo 18. Named after the final, scuttled Apollo mission, the album is a sprawling masterpiece produced by John and John, and their last album created entirely as a duo. It dives deep into self-sampled sounds and MIDI programming and goes further out than any album before it.
Come on. Look at this album. Insane. A beautiful re-issue lovingly pressed on 180g audiophile vinyl.

Here is the picture disc, for folks who take their vinyl experience to the next level. Same excellent audio quality, but with this wild graphic on Side A. Side B is a Drew Tetz-designed ZOETROPE. What’s a zoetrope? The definition of zoetrope is the definition of cool!

SPRINGSTEEN TOUR POSTPONED.
FOR TOURING MUSICIANS COVID IS DEFINITELY NOT OVER

JF here with a mask update: We've seen posts along the lines of "Are you still making people wear masks?" Let me carefully summarize: We would request folks wear a mask. We haven't and aren't making anyone do anything, but as outbreaks are cancelling tours every week this year including this one, we aren’t pretending covid is over. Enjoy the shows, and thanks to you for keeping yourself, the crowd, the crew, and us safe!
