SOLANA BEACH ON JULY 15
A Special Evening with They Might Be Giants w/ Horns
At the Belly Up in Solana Beach to benefit FEEDING SAN DIEGO happens July 15
Your special pre-sale code is IFDAY and will work starting Wednesday, April 19 at 10am PT.
We wanted to be in peak form for our Hollywood Bowl show with Sparks, so we are going to do some warm-up shows at one of our favorite venues, the Belly Up stage. The Triceratops Horns will also be there kicking up a lot noise with us.
The net proceeds of this evening will benefit for FEEDING SAN DIEGO: Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger-relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America partner food bank in the region. Feeding San Diego provides more than 35 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, veterans, people facing homelessness, and other underserved populations. They distribute meals in partnership with 370 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries throughout the region.
Big notices about these PORTLAND and SEATTLE shows. Read this:
-All of these shows have been successfully rescheduled from 2020.
-All original tickets are still valid and will be honored at the door!
-There is no opener, and we are on stage playing music at 8pm sharp. Don’t show up late and wonder what happened.
Q: I can't find my original tickets. What should I do?
A: -Search your emails for "They Might Be Giants" or the name of the venue –– your tickets or a receipt will probably appear.
-If you purchased your tickets through a big ticket agency like Ticketmaster, you had to start an account, and you will be happy to find that you tickets are still in that account right now.
-If you still can't find the tickets, call or email the venue's box office and ask for help. They are a much better bet than Ticketmaster. They'll be able to find your tickets by searching your name or the email address you used with your purchase. (Be sure to provide them with the same email you purchased your tickets with—it won’t work any other way!)
Q: They Might Be Giants are playing multiple shows in Seattle and Portland. Which tickets are good for which show?
A: This is important as your ticket will not be honored for the wrong date, so double-check your scene with this information:
4.18 PORTLAND OR rescheduled from 10.6.20, 6.8.21, and 5.3.22
4.19 PORTLAND OR rescheduled from 10.7.20, 6.9.21, and 5.4.22
4.20 SEATTLE WA rescheduled from 10.3.20, 6.10.21, and 5.5.22
4.21 SEATTLE WA rescheduled from 10.2.20, 6.11.21, and 5.6.22
Q: Are They Might Be Giants still going to perform all of Flood?
A: Yes, we are. The show is two sets, with no opener (or "An Evening with..." as they say in show business).
PLEASE WEAR A MASK TO OUR SHOW!
A note from John F.: Can you believe it? It’s 2023 and everybody is still getting COVID. Know folks who got it two weeks ago? We do too! We've got 1 request: wear a mask to our shows. Not a demand. Just a request. Do we have hot takes? Yes. But we will spare you ours. If you are violently not into this idea, don’t wear one!—they will still let you in.

Along with all of Flood, we are going to be changing things up from night to night just to keep the ball rolling for us. As you may have noticed, we are also touring Scotland, England, and Ireland. Because demand was high and most shows sold out early we were able to add more shows, which was gratifying on every level, and will inevitably make the tour all the more exciting.
