This show was sponsored by No Other, who were sponsoring concerts at both Stache's and the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio at the time^[1]. Tickets were $5 in advance and $6 at the door.

John Linnell recalled this show in a 1995 interview:^[2]

The first time we played Columbus was in 1988. The opening band was called Glass Eye, and as I recall, they had all tripped on LSD the night before.
