- TMBG's attempt to write the title theme for the 1996 film, mentioned in interviews including this 2012 one with John Flansburgh.
"The thing we did was pretty squared off, riff driven rock and roll. It was done very fast and probably was way too punk."[1]
- Over 300 submissions for the theme from different artists were received, ultimately settling on a submission from Adam Schlesinger, who worked closely with TMBG, including the production of Mink Car.
