how i got into tmbg[edit]
im a very new tmbg fan. i got into them after getting tickets to see them in asheville on 11.17.25. i had listened to a bit of tmbg a while before then but in preparation for the concert i started studying their discography and reading a lot about them. the show was really awesome and i got really really obsessed afterwards. now ive listened to all of their albums and watched/listened to so many bootlegs, read so many interviews, and read so many pages on this wiki its downright concerning.
why i like this silly band[edit]
ive always been fond of "weird" alternative music. so naturally i immediately loved their music when i first listened it. whats uniquely appealing to me about their music to me though is how truly varied it is. if i want to rock out, theres john henry. if i want to be sad and angsty, theres BOOK. if i want to have an aneurysm, theres the pink album. i feel like no matter what playlist i make, theres at least one tmbg song that will fit in perfectly. i think thats whats allowed me to be so obsessed with them for this long without getting bored. the music is just one half of the reason i love tmbg so much though. theres also the fact that the johns are just such cool people. they are very funny and cute and kind. they seem like really honest people too. theyre just guys making music because they love to. its nice to see :)
