Wayne Evan Hankin is a musician and composer who specializes in early wind instruments. He plays one of these early woodwinds, an instrument called the rauschpfeife, on the Mink Car version of "Older" by They Might Be Giants. Other popular musicians he's worked for include Meredith Monk and Jewel.[2]
He has "over 4000 performances" under his belt, including his work with the LA Philharmonic and Cirque du Soleil. In addition to his work in ensembles, he has also performed on the soundtracks to many movies and TV shows.[3]
