- Originally titled "After School Special" according to the robotic Pat Dillett in Podcast 27A.
- The "Xenia" in the song is a reference to Xenia, Ohio, inspired by Flans's years with The Blackouts while he attended Antioch College. He has visited Xenia, Ohio [1] and in at least one live show has referred to the song as "about the state of Ohio".
- In 2024, the song returned to live sets after 29 years of not being played, with its last previous known performance being a show in April 1995.
